Photovoltaic Monitoring System
Solar panel contains many photovoltaic cells electrically connected and packaged behind the glass of module. The modules are connected together in an array. An electric inverter is connected to convert panel generated DC output to AC, which is used for as electrical supply for household, commercial or industrial usage. A battery storage system with charge controller is installed to compensate the lower supply of energy.

The Monitoring System:

All signals - output voltage from individual solar panel or array, DC outputs, AC outputs from inverter are monitored by the system. So, generally the parameters that are measured are: Array Voltage, Array Current, DC Voltage,DC Current, AC voltage, AC current, Frequency, Power Ambient Monitoring Parameters: Ambient temperature, Humidity, Global irradiance, Wind Speed and direction.
Data logging and Transmission:
All the sensors and machines are connected to data logger which periodically reads data from all the connected devices and stores them into a large capacity ﬂash memory.
Remote Data Visualization and Monitoring:
A web service enables to visualize the data pertaining to your photovoltaic system. This means that you can access your system data via the Internet from any location worldwide. The system allows remote monitoring of energy systems, reporting and control of failures all via a web browser. Our graphical interface is easy to use and understand and can be accessed from any web-enabled device, such as a mobile phone, from anywhere in the world. Due to the various presentation forms, it would be possible to directly deduce about the operative status of the system, its performance and its capacity.Thus, the PV plants can be managed remotely through the internet providing high degree of ﬂexibility and accessibility.
